We stand behind every hat we make. If something isn't right, we want to fix it — because uncles deserve the best.
Returns
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed items in original condition with tags attached within 3 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
•Item must be unworn and in its original condition
•Tags must still be attached
•Item must be in original packaging
•You must have proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
The following items are NOT eligible for return:
•Items marked as Final Sale
•Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
•Gift cards
How to Start a Return
1.Email us at hello@theunclegang.com with your order number and reason for return
2.We'll respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a return address
3.Ship your item back using a trackable shipping method — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility
4.Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5–7 business days
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account. If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, please contact us at hello@theunclegang.com.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on your order and return part of it, the standard shipping cost may be deducted from your refund if your remaining order total falls below the free shipping threshold.
Exchanges
We offer exchanges for a different size or color of the same item, subject to availability. To request an exchange:
1.Email hello@theunclegang.com with your order number and the item you'd like to exchange for
2.We'll confirm availability and send you exchange instructions
3.Ship your original item back — once received, we'll ship your new item
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@theunclegang.com with:
•Your order number
•A photo of the damaged or defective item
We will send you a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you — no need to return the damaged item.
Wrong Item Received
If we sent you the wrong item, we sincerely apologize. Contact us at hello@theunclegang.com within 7 days of delivery and we'll send the correct item immediately with free expedited shipping.
Gift Returns
If you received a The Uncle Gang™ product as a gift and would like to return it, we can issue store credit in the amount of the original purchase price. Please contact us at hello@theunclegang.com with your gift receipt or the name/email of the person who purchased it.
